Building the Team for Success
What did we do to partner with the client?
- Revamped brand hired their SVP of Sales and needed to build the team.
- PG went head-to-head with another agency (working searches for the same role but in different geographies) and blew Zephyr away.
- Placed the Regional Sales Manager role in 21 days; that candidate was identified and presented only 3 days after commencing the search.
- The other firm’s placement (in TN) took much longer and wound up resigning.
- We also placed the Executive Assistant to the Owner.
Strategic Advisory for Expansion
How did we advise the client?
- Based on projected expansion into next markets, we helped advise on geographic location for this role and some of the skills/relationships that may be most important for the hire.
- It was one of the first few markets that Zephyr Gin was being distributed in via the 3-tier system. Crucial to get “the right/best” talent in the seat.
- On-premise focused brand for upscale bars and sophisticated consumers. Specific types of accounts (bars, restaurants, hotels, lounges).
- Ordered a bottle of the product online and tasted it (Elderflower/Elderberry-forward Gin) so we could really speak to the uniqueness of the brand to candidates.

What were the results of our work?
Through our efforts, Zephyr Gin successfully placed a Regional Sales Manager, an Executive Assistant to the Founder, and a California State Manager. These key hires were instrumental in their expansion into new markets, significantly contributing to their active selling and educational efforts. Our ability to quickly identify and present the right candidates helped Zephyr meet their growth objectives effectively.
