Job Description: Sales Position

Responsibility for delivering the annual volume goals for our company within the defined state. Working with their distributor partner collaboratively, including senior leadership, and accountable for overall distributor performance in the State. Role ensures execution in-market is aligned with our strategy and defined guidelines, contract terms and budgets. The role is accountable for building and maintaining lasting relationships with important On Premise gatekeepers, influential bartenders and retail store managers. Developing new accounts through cold-calling on prospective new customers is an important element of the role. The manager will conduct staff training sessions, secure menu placements, participate in off-premise tastings and sponsored events. Will be responsible for establishing plans to meet monthly and yearly volume/menu/distribution goals within A&P budgets

Specific Tasks:

– Establish and monitor sales & depletion metrics and performance, proactively managing the distributor to ensure targets/KPI’s are met
– Set market pricing, establish deal levels, build budgets, measure spend
– Lead by example being the ultimate brand champion for us in the marketplace, developing a strong base of high performing accounts, building belief across the customer and distributor base for our company
– Manage distributor inventory and size mix to maintain strong levels
– Agree robust program calendar with distributors/customers and evaluate activities, achieving key performance goals and brand priorities
– Agree and manage budgets aligned with core activities supporting the brand strategy
– Participate in regular work-withs and build high profile with distributor Sales Teams
– Regularly attend GSM meetings and run Business reviews with senior leadership

Ideal Candidate:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required

Professional Experience

• 15+ years of sales and/or marketing experience within the 3 tier system, preferably with existing distributor relationship with RNDC in CA
• Extensive spirits experience within an On Premise environment
• Proficiency in effective management of budgets
