Sales & Operations Planning Manager


Company is seeking a Manager of Sales and Operations Planning to manage supply chain activities to ensure that we have the right products, at the right time and at the right locations. The candidate will, among other responsibilities, manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, demand planning, general supply chain planning.

The right candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management or industrial engineering, with Strong Communication and Influencing skills.

Job Duties:

• Leads the SOP business rhythm for close alignment and collaboration with all functional stakeholders including Bottling Products, Finance & Supply Chain
• Drives holistic perspective to gather consensus on multiple points of view on future state & long-range plans.
• Drives the Executive SOP meeting by providing content and clear messaging for decision-making and alignment on the long-term business priorities.
• Improves clarity of managing complex problems, drives alignment and influences decision-making at senior leadership levels.
• Provides leadership to identify and manage the supply chain to optimize availability and cost.
• Drive alignment of business objectives across key stakeholders
• Partner with key stakeholders to identify process improvements, system enhancements, and overall resource requirements to support new products/business WPD standards.
• Develops and leads Cross-Functional teams in scoping problems by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholder, and outcomes (Bottling, Financial/Supply Chain, Sales)
• Manage demand and supply planning for our Private Label, Private Brand, Own brand and Bulk business pillars utilizing ERP system to optimize plant efficiencies and provide products in a timely manner.
• Manage the S&OP process from each production facility through the executive review.
• Compile data and prepare reports used for the S&OP reviews.
• Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings.
• Manage forecast review and turn into an aggregate demand plan for the organization.
• Identify cross functional team members – Support, train and coach team members- Champion demand and supply planning principles to sales and production management.
• Analyze and assist in management of inventory to increase turns, reduce waste and ensure availability to customers.
• Identify slow moving and obsolete inventory and work with sales and production teams to develop disposition plans.
• Establish and maintain relevant KPI’s that measure effectiveness of supply chain objectives.
• Develop and manage annual department budgets.

Background Requirements:

• Strong Knowledge of supply chain with 6-8+ years of relevant planning experience, demand and supply.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to drive resolution in ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated executive communication/presentation skills and persistent attention to detail.
• Exceptional ability to impact and influence business decisions and results where cross-boundary collaboration is required.
• Demonstrated experience driving global programs while understanding the multicultural implication of global business and processes.

• BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering with relevant experience in Supply Chain Management.

• Proficient using MS Office, with strong Excel and Access skills, ERP software.
• Supply chain management: Minimum of 5 years (Required) (Maybe 7)
• Demand planning: 5 years (Required) (Maybe 7)
• Leadership/ People Management Experience: 5 years (Required)
• APICS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (Preferred)
