Market Manager – GA/TN

Summary:

you will be responsible for driving sales volume and executing marketing tactics through building and maintaining strong customer relationships, visiting current and non-buy accounts in designated territory, working closely with distributor partners, and executing promotions + special events. The Market Manager will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order to drive trial and increase sales. This is a sales role, with a focus on launching a new brand and growing new distribution.

Job Duties:

-Sell Elenita to non-buy accounts (on and off premise- stores, bars, restaurants, hotels)
-Visit retail accounts, on and off premise, to build relationships, grow volume, secure POS, manage pricing, sample the product (where possible) to drive trial, and plan/participate in promotions and events
-Work with distributors weekly in the trade to build relationships and drive sales
-Participate in new market launch meetings and events (some travel may be required)
-Attend sales meetings to discuss wins, issues, competitors, and opportunities to maximize sales efforts
-Gather and analyze market / consumer feedback Develop weekly reports of sales activity and performance
-Collaborate with marketing team on promotional and guerilla events, campaigns, and seasonal programming
-Non-traditional hours including nights/weekends

Background Requirements:

-3- 5 years experience
-Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred Alcohol industry a must
-Wine experience preferred
-Event planning
-Account relationships
-Brand ambassador promotions
-Market relationships/networking
