Marketing Manager – e-commerce

Summary:

Client is a leading global vape (e-liquid) brand, backed by a publicly traded company. They are experiencing dramatic growth and are launching a full line of CBD products— including a skincare/ cosmetics line by 2021. We have a kick-ass brand new 50,000 sq ft office in Thousand Oaks, CA. We’re seeking a superstar, driven marketer, looking to define, implement, and take our growth to new heights.

Job Duties:

Job Description
– Lead, develop, and implement go-to-market E-commerce and product launch strategy for multiple CBD product lines; Includes developing product branding and content strategy
– Work with CEO, Branding Agency, and in-house design team to spearhead and implement creative content for advertisement (website, social media, events- mass market, public market, etc)
– Build out marketing team with multiple direct reports – Research product and marketing trends
– Identify key growth strategies and propose execution plans, informed by data/ analytics
– Develop new marketing concepts; identify partners; identify gaps vs. competition
– Ensure marketing is FDA and FDC complaint

Experience:
– 7+ years of brand management, E-commerce marketing— ideally with both traditional CPG and startup.
– Creative, Visionary; Strategic thinking with ability to move from big picture to detail and back.
– Must be comfortable in small business, dynamic and fast-paced environment
– Need to be independent; Track record of driving results with limited direction

Related Skills:

Direct Reports – Reporting to you would be Head of Design and Head of Social Media.
