Summary:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Manager works closely with senior leadership to support payroll, reporting, benefits, compliance, performance management, staffing, training and recruiting operations. The HR Manager supports administration and communication of policies and practices while leading a variety of key HR projects to completion. The role also supports the Finance function reporting on various KPI’s and other needs.

Job Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
• Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit.
• Supports all areas of HR with specific projects within key areas including HR Operations, Client-Facing HR, Recruiting and Training.
• Contributes to increasing the employee engagement and employee satisfaction and reduced turnover.
• Assists with bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees in a multi-state/international environment.
• Supports managers in the resolution of payroll-related issues.
• Reconciles payroll data as required.
• Assist with employee benefits enrollment, administration and updates.
• Utilizes HR Databases for data entry and report generation; Generates and prepares weekly, semi-monthly, annual and ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Assists with workers’ compensation processing and injury and illness prevention program.
• Acts as liaison for employee payroll questions; communicates company pay practices and wage & hour laws.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Ensures execution, implementation, application and management of HR policies, regulations, procedures, systems and tools, in collaboration with People Services and other HR Departments.
• Identifies and addresses health and/or human interest issues and potential risks in order to maintain the right conditions for a sustainable, healthy workforce.
• Communicates performance management guidance, on-site employee relations, and exit interviews as necessary.
• Assist with onboarding and new orientations as needed.
• Support the Recruiting team with sourcing and generating candidates through LinkedIn and other tools.
• Posts jobs on company website and job boards.
• Schedules phone and on-site interviews for select positions.
• Coordinates temporary staffing and tracking.
• Other projects and duties as directed.

Background Requirements:

DESIRED CAPABILITIES/CHARACTERISTICS:
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
• 4-year University degree, MBA preferred, Finance major
• Prior HRIS experience preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate successfully.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Exceptional internal & external customer service competency required.
• Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Passion for the company and the beer business preferred.
