At Mission Barns, you’ll have the freedom to dream big and do the best work of your life. In this role, you will oversee all business-related matters for Mission Barns. You will research, evaluate, and recommend potential growth strategies and business models by doing financial analysis and market research. You will develop strategies on how to make Mission Barns as successful as possible in the short and long term.

Job Duties:

– Develop long-term business strategy, and create a roadmap for accomplishing these goals
– Work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to define corporate vision and strategy
– Evaluate the benefits and risks of potential business decisions
– Negotiate company contracts, deals, and financings
– Oversee financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling

Background Requirements:

– 15+ years experience in a broad range of business functions
– Deep understanding and an extensive network in the food (preferably meat) industry
– Experience managing teams
– Strong analytical problem-solving skills
– Competent, strategic, adaptable, with great judgment
– Passionate about the mission to create high-quality meat products in a better way
– Experience in a high growth/startup environment
