The Event Manager supports the experiential marketing strategy by driving brand and community engagement through field events. This role coordinates details of all assigned events to ensure they run smoothly within specific budgets and timelines. Partnering cross functionally to manage all allocated sponsorship and community events, the Event Manager provides reporting on impact and ROI for each event. Through proactive planning and successful execution of local events and community-based programs, this Cookies ambassador grows our brand awareness and affinity. Key Responsibilities: Research and evaluate new event opportunities based on business objectives and marketing goals. Populate and manage the event project plans with required information in order to plan, execute and recap events. Communicate with marketing, partners, and sales to ensure team is aligned on details of event or campaign Responsible for event execution and logistics, including set-up, brand training, product management, on-location event leadership, and post-event tracking and reporting. Source local vendors Provide on-location support for media teams (ex: content capture for social channels). Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, driving forward ideas based on unique event and activation experiences. Performs a variety of functions associated with events and programs including but not limited to logistics, communications, and production of collateral materials. Identify and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure smooth and professional events. Marketing and event administrative tasks, as well as fast-paced project management duties. Other duties and projects as directed. You have: 7+ years of event, experiential or field marketing experience: including successful execution of a high-volume of events, preferably within a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, flawless attention to detail, with a sharp ability to meet deadlines. Understanding of event production and fabrication required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or sales preferred. Experience in cannabis is preferred. Highly motivated and able to travel extensively (up to 50%), maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and work across a variety of time zones. Awareness of trends in festivals and events (i.e. music, cannabis, food & beverage, art). Outgoing and high energy; enjoys public interaction; positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency within a fast-paced environment with often competing priorities. Demonstrate the ability to be proactive and resourceful, effectively problem solving using resources available, exercising good judgment and professional discretion. Communicate and work with all levels of employees and partners, both internally and externally, demonstrating expertise, mature judgment, and professionalism at all times. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to coordinate efforts across departments and execute successful results. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be flexible in a dynamic team environment. Collaborate effectively within a team. Advanced Microsoft Office and G-suite knowledge and experience.
