Director Total Rewards

Summary:

The Director, Total Rewards (“Director”) is the strategic and executional leader of all Company compensation systems and processes, which support our culture and pay-for-performance philosophy. Moreover, the Director will be the creative leader of providing infrastructure and support for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, while keeping our overall employee population engaged. The incumbent is responsible for designing and implementing scalable and competitive reward programs that will allow us to recognize talent and performance, while being overall inclusive. He/she will lead compensation, benefits, and payroll programs to support the culture that will deliver the expected results of company.

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage the compensation (both executive and overall compensation), HR operations (payroll, retirement, and benefits) teams
• Work directly with the CHRO and the executive team to create and implement executive compensation programs
• Support the CHRO in projects, presentations, and responses to the Board of Directors and the Talent & Compensation Committee
• Develop tools and communication materials to provide understanding of various plans and benefits
• Manage brokers and external partners in the delivery of compensation/benefits programs
• Design, execute, and communicate programs that are in support of and aligned with the Behaviors and its overall culture
• Partner with HR business partners to understand and then deliver programs that support the business and drive expected results
• Demonstrated expertise and experience serving as the internal expert on all total rewards best practices and current programs
• Successful experience in creating cutting-edge programs to have the maximum positive impact on our employees
• Ability to lead and execute multiple projects, concurrently
• Strong people-leader, who supports and develops direct reports
• A proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on internal and external data and insights
• Strong executive communication skills
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills coupled with strategic influencing skills
• Previous experience implementing job analysis programs, gathering external bench-marking data, and creating job banding/job leveling systems
• Implementation and on-going management capability of salary ranges/merit, annual bonus, and equity program leadership and execution
• Experience making compensation recommendations based on internal and external market relativity
• Prior experience preparing statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of pay-for-performance programs
• Ability to create communication tools and provide training on compensation and benefit programs

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
o Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or in a related field
o Preferred: A master’s degree business or in a related field
o Required: 7 – 10 years of HR experience
o Required: 3-5 years of compensation/total rewards experience in a public company
o Preferred: M&A total rewards experience on the acquisition side
o Previous experience using Workday is a plus
