Job Duties:

JUUL Labs is seeking a Director, Commercial Programs Finance for its rapidly scaling business in Austin, Texas. As part of the Commercial Programs team, you will partner with leaders across the organization including sales, business development, marketing, supply chain, product development, scientific affairs, regulatory, and IP / legal. Work output will be featured at the highest levels of the company, with real opportunities to influence business direction. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant finance, consulting experience, and consumer insights experience. This role will be responsible for creating and managing P&L and cash flow models for Commercial Program initiatives, sourcing new consumer and purchase data, tracking program KPIs and determining and monitoring churn rates. Potential projects include: Build sophisticated financial and operating models to solve complex questions.

– Manage and grow relationships with internal and third party consumer purchase data providers
– Own, manage, and evaluate internal and third party data to monitor the rates, drivers and trends of consumer churn
– Analyze XLS, SQL and Tableau data sets to determine consumer churn rates, drivers and trends
– Build executive-level presentations to share findings across the company
– Think creatively to anticipate questions on your findings and perform analysis proactively to answer those questions
– Manage a small team to assist with all of the above

Background Requirements:

– 8+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or consumer insights
– Demonstrated interest in CPG, tech or medical device industries
– General functional understanding of finance, sales, product, marketing, supply chain, e-commerce, and regulatory / legal
– High degree of organization and efficiency
– Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail while delivering against tight deadlines
– Strong background and comfort with modeling
– Outstanding written and communication skills
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
– Ability to manage a team of Finance Associates and Data Specialists
– An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for making a mark in fast-paced, growing environments

– Professional demeanor and ability to interact with persuasiveness and confidence
– High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs Familiarity with SQL and/or data analysis tools is a positive
