The Role:

Business Development and Client Relationship Management

  • Drive and manage an opportunity pipeline with prospective clients, venture capital, or private equity partners.
  • Maximize client activity and generate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing campaigns.
  • Spearhead the negotiation and contracting process for the assigned market.
  • Meet key performance indicator (KPI) measurements for a specified market.
  • Own the full lifecycle of the selling process, using analytics to forecast and close the opportunity pipeline.
  • Conduct market analysis and develop recommendations for organizational Go-To-Market opportunities.
  • Use HubSpot CRM to create and complete pipeline activity, drive new deals, and optimize sales processes.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the executive search, recruitment, and talent acquisition industry, including a good understanding of industry language and processes.
  • Partner with the client hiring manager, C-Suite executives, and/or investors to gain a deep understanding of the client’s business, strategy, and culture
  • Communicate effectively with all aspects of the business to ensure the rest of the team is up to date with your deals
  • Demonstrate team leadership characteristics by assisting your teammates while proactively updating our team on relevant industry trends
  • Effectively interact with all levels of the business, ensuring clear and timely updates on ongoing deals.
  • Engage with colleagues to enhance the work environment and improve the overall client experience.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to key stakeholders through various channels.

Marketing

  • Lead personal brand activity on social media platforms to improve reach within the industry
  • Develop a deep knowledge of SEARCH, CONTRACT, and DATA offerings
  • Deliver compelling presentations to critical stakeholders in the assigned market. Meaningful interactions include but are not limited to cold call canvassing, video meetings, face-to-face meetings, facility tours, email exchanges, etc.
  • Understand industry language and processes to consult prospective clients better
  • Provide external insights and recommendations on emerging brands, new market opportunities, and internal capabilities

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the executive search or talent acquisition industry.
  • Experience in the entire sales cycle, including deal-closing with demonstrated sales success
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot CRM and its applications in managing client relationships, pipelines, and driving sales activities.
  • ATS experience or knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, CRM, ATS (a plus), Video Conferencing tools, and other technology used to enhance remote engagement
  • Preferred:
  • CPG domain knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree
