Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary:

A full-time E-commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist will grow in-site sales and help Director of Marketing & Innovation with execution of digital marketing campaigns. Leveraging today’s fast-pacing e-commerce strategies and best practices, the candidate will maximize company’s share of online sales market and build high affinity online campaigns.

Job Duties:

In-site sales management across all online platforms, including Website, Shopify, Amazon, online magazines/editorials/blogs and Search engine platforms.

Off-site sales support: work closely with 3rd party digital agencies and online media partners to help with development and execution of effective campaigns that grow online awareness and exposure.

Support with online & digital data and analytics.

Grow Brand’s Online Sales / Revenue -> increase the company’s online sales by growing % share of competed purchases:
Increase Traffic to the Website, Shopify and Amazon Grow Bounce rate on the Website, Shopify and Amazon Increase Lifetime value on the Website, Shopify and Amazon.
Increase ATC on Shopify and Amazon.
Increase IC on Shopify and Amazon.
Increase % Share of completed purchase on Shopify and % Share of “buy box” sales on Amazon.
Grow AOV on Shopify and Amazon.

Negotiate best deals with freight & packaging vendors, e-commerce platforms and others to maximize efficiency and increase margins.

Responsible for in-site pricing strategy.

Suggest e-commerce designs or prototypes, such as storyboards, mock-ups, or other content.

Execute and manage Web banners, videos, or other non-text link ad campaigns in our own online platforms.

Define product requirements, based on market research analysis, in collaboration with user interface design and engineering staff.

Ensure online product catalogs are current, accurate, and organized for best findability against user intent.

Help resolve online product availability problems in collaboration with customer service staff.

Grow Brand’s Online Awareness & Exposure -> grow % share of visitors and improve search-related activities:
Coordinate with developers to optimize Web site architecture, server configuration, or page construction for search engine consumption and optimal visibility for different devices.
Continuously improve Meta data, key words and backlinks.
Grow Redirection Rates and drive Traffic by building awareness through/in online editorials/magazines and news media, blogs and creating tracking links. Negotiate placement of listings in local search engines, directories, or digital mapping technologies.
By combining own in-site and external online data sources, find insights and data that can help the team.
Strengthen digital marketing strategies and content.
Monitor the web for new occurrences of the Lakewood name in real-time, mitigating negative results and acquire plus promote positive ones.
Clean up SERP results for brand keywords and positive links to populate first top and second top page results.
Optimize digital and multimedia assets for SEO, display & usability on internet-connected devices.
Propose and execute financial modeling for online marketing programs and Web site revenue forecasting.
Help with development or implementation of online marketing strategy and content.

Assist in evaluation and negotiation of contracts with creative vendors or online partners.

Help ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on brand, on time, and on budget while reducing redundancies and complexities.

Monthly monitor and analyze online and digital insights & data:
Conduct market research & analysis to identify search query trends, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, e-commerce trends & opportunities, and competitor performance.
Collect and analyze Web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, traffic mix, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, or cost per click.
Assist in setting up or optimizing analytics tools for tracking visitors’ behaviors for different devices.
Evaluate new emerging media or technologies and make recommendations for their application within Internet marketing or search marketing campaigns.
Monitor online marketing initiatives, such as organic & paid ad placement, affiliate programs, sponsorship programs, email promotions, and viral marketing campaigns on social media, Web sites and translate into actionable insights to strategy and content creation.
Continuously research and implement fast-changing online technologies to improve our branding efforts.
Help identify appropriate KPIs and report key metrics for digital campaigns.

Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital, Communications, Business, or related fields.
  • Must have minimum 3 years of related experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce.
  • Synergized understanding of contemporary online/digital and e-commerce principles, strategies, and best execution practices.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing & sales, and online & digital customer acquisition.
  • In-depth experience with Website analytics tools Including Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.
