They are a full-service brokerage firm that assists individuals and business with their property, casualty, employee benefits and individual insurance needs. They are seeking a P&C Customer Service Representative to support their middle market accounts . This position can be located in either Rolling Meadows or in downtown Chicago. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Account Managers with the day-to-day services operations for new and existing clients, and supporting the production of new Property and Casualty accounts.

Job Duties:

What You Will Do Here:
• Prepare insurance documents; auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurance, Evidences of Insurance, and fulfilling MVR requests
• Prepare renewal applications
• Obtain loss experience on all lines of coverage on all accounts
• Initiating and following-up on policy changes with various carriers
• Reviewing and assisting with resolving audit disputes
• Setting up new clients in client management system
• Monitoring receipt of renewal policies
• Preparing client presentations
• Reviewing policies for accuracy
• Sending policies to clients
• Sending all documentation to scanning, and maintaining files in client management system
• Invoicing, updating billing screens, setting up new applications and updating applications in client management system
• Obtaining online quotes for Flood Policies, and BOP’s with various carriers
• Performing other duties as assigned
• As this individual gains knowledge of the accounts, additional duties and responsibilities will be added, such as assisting with marketing

Background Requirements:

What You Bring To The Table:
• 3-5 years of P&C Insurance experience
• IL P&C License with knowledge of insurance industry coverages, terms and conditions
• Knowledge of Epic or another Agency Management system preferred
• Working knowledge of Excel and MS Office
• The ability to multi-task and handle a large volume of items simultaneously
• Good organizational skills, with high attention to detail
• Able to work in a team environment
• Eager to learn new tasks
• Ability to cross-sell products to existing customers
