The Chief of Sales Northeast is a critical position whereby the individual will be the face of the brand in the assigned markets, responsible for KPIs, volume & POD goals, and engaging the local distributor network in Northeast markets. The main responsibility is to build brand engagement with trade and consumers both on and off premise. This will be accomplished by activating key accounts within the local on/off premise universe, driving consumer engagement, trade and distributor education, and being responsible for the results within their territory.

Job Duties:

• Manage team of 6 full-time and 1 part-time Steward of the Brand with ongoing training and development planned out in Reviewsnap Manager Training Module
• Manage Pricing & Programming budget for assigned markets
• Manage inventory & shipments monthly with each distributor to fiscal year targets
• Recruit high quality, high potential individuals with strong motivation to grow within company
• Set up and execute quarterly business reviews
• Perform distributor GSM’s and walk around tastings with Stewards
• Manage Stewards in respective markets (pre-plan/recaps/programs/T&E)
• Call on key on and off premise accounts in market based on specific target lists established by Chief/CSO
• Manage Stewards to ensure point of sale is placed in prime locations and products are placed according to brand standards
• Manage Stewards to execute wait staff trainings and be able to present the brand’s features and benefits • Train off premise accounts on brand story and attributes
• Plan and execute wait staff incentives (where legal)
• Activate consumer and trade events (where legal) to generate brand awareness, engagement and trial in conjunction with CMO/Marketing
• Have open and regular communication with local sales and distributor teams in order to achieve results and identify new sales opportunities in the market
• Share industry and competitive activity to keep brand at the forefront of developments
• Monitor and provide detailed recaps on all on/off premise programs on a monthly basis

• Self-disciplined and flexible self-starter, with confidence and drive to work independently and meet all project deadlines, including frequently working outside normal business hours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required including the experience and ability to present in front of both large and small groups
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of spirits industry and distribution in North East markets
